Dr. Robert Lewis
Dr. Robert Lewis was a spiritual mentor of mine when I was in college at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. I was overseeing a Christian Ministry on the college campus and Robert Lewis was attending Western Baptist Seminary in Portland at the time.
I was attending a Baptist church in Forest Grove and my Bible college class teacher at the church was Dr. Gordon McMinn who was a professor on staff at Western Baptist Seminary. Dr. McMinn knew that Robert and other seminary students needed a ministry outreach project. Dr. McMinn asked me if he could contact several seminary students to help my college ministry. Dr. McMinn recommended Robert Lewis and several other students at Western. Dr. McMinn arranged for these men to assist me in my ministry on campus. They all were a great help to me, but Robert Lewis was the leader of the group and had an immense spiritual impact on my life.
It was a very productive time for us to collaborate and plan for how to minister to students on the campus. Dr. Lewis was a great leader and a valuable spiritual mentor to me and I treasure his influence on my spiritual life. I will never forget the role model he was for me and I cherish the spiritual growth that he was instrumental in establishing in my relationship with God the Father, Son and Spirit.
